William Frew founded Annandale Design in Kilmarnock in 1967 and from a staff of 3 the business has steadily grown the business to its current position where we now employ 40 people with a turnover approaching £3million.

Originally set up as a machining and repair company, the company's service range expanded to incorporate steel fabrication and structural steelwork.

Around 15 years ago we identified a niche in the market for the rising trend in architectural metalwork and in particular features staircases and balustrading.

Annandale Design's expertise in repair work and its experience in structural and secondary steelwork provided the company with an unrivalled skill set for polished steel work, which is highly sought after in balustrading. Coupled with its experience in machining and installing structural steelwork, Annandale Design found it had a unique offering in the UK construction market.
