Annandale Home Grown Success Continues Annandale Design's dominance of the Scottish architectural metalwork sector continues following the successful completion of two significant developments in Hamilton and Rutherglen, worth in excess of £100,000. The Kilmarnock-based company has grown steadily from humble beginnings almost 40 years ago, to be one of the leading players in the UK market, designing, manufacturing and installing architectural metalwork, structural steelwork and structural glazing with contracts across the country and across to mainland Europe. Managing Director, Allan Frew, said "Our roots are firmly entrenched in structural steelwork and architectural metalwork, however we have experienced a sharp rise in the demand for stainless steel handrails and balustrading over recent years as architects look to create a cost effective contemporary finish to their designs." Annandale Design is one of the few architectural metalwork companies that has design, manufacture and installation services in-house. However, the key factor that sets it apart from its competitors is its integrated approach to the work with a dedicated project team assigned to fulfill the design, manufacture and installation of a contract. Annandale has also recently completed the Radisson Hotel, The Bullring in Birmingham, the refurbishment of John Lewis in Edinburgh and is currently working on £1million worth of projects due for completion early 2003, to ensure the company maintains its growth strategy. |
