Miller Construction, the main contractor of the project, employed Annandale Design to carry out the design, manufacture and installation of a number of significant high profile specialist metalwork package for Union Square Shopping Centre, a £250 million regeneration project in the heart of Aberdeen and the largest mixed-use development in Scotland at the time.

Beginning in 2007, Annandale Design was involved in the project until the opening of the innovative shopping centre in 2009, and was responsible for the complete production and installation of all balustrades and galvanized guardrails to the 3 floor multi storey car park and spiral access ramps.  In addition, Annandale Design was accountable for the design, manufacture and installation of the bespoke feature stainless steel woven mesh screening & bracketry to the East elevation of the centre.
